One way to maximize your gift is to check with your employer to see if it is one of the many companies offering a matching gift program. By following your company’s guidelines, the value of your gift may be doubled or tripled. Many employers will match charitable donations made by their employees (often on a 2:1 or 3:1 basis). Contact the Human Resources or Public Affairs office at your place of employment and find out if your employer offers such a program.
